Privacy Statement for POTUS%

POTUS% is built to be useful without turning the user into the product.

POTUS% is an app that tracks and displays the progress of the current President of the United States’ term in office.

No account or profile data

POTUS% does not ask for your name, email address, or other account information, and we do not create user profiles.

Public data only

The information shown in the app comes from a public data source provided by our backend service. This information includes details such as the President’s name, term dates, and milestone progress.

No analytics by us

We do not use analytics tools of our own to track how you use the app.

Advertising

The app displays banner advertising supplied by Google AdMob, non-personalized only. Every ad request is made as non-personalized, so the app asks for no tracking permission and shows no consent form, and once ads have been removed the banner is not built at all. While we request non-personalized ads, Google may still process technical information such as device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data as described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What we store locally

The app may store limited technical settings on your device, such as configuration values needed for the app to run. This does not include account or profile data.

Your rights under the GDPR

Lovetere IT is the controller for the limited processing described above. You can request access to or erasure of personal data relating to you, and you can object to processing. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
